Cyber Crown
This game was designed for Blaze Games, my group’s industry partner, whilst working with the IN4 group. This game is a top-down turnbased RPG set in a heavily stylised Cyberpunk world with the intention of being played as an aracde style game.
As the Project manager, original concept creator and lead player/combat designer, I wanted to develop smooth, easy to use and fun mechanics for players to fight through the levels of our game, focusing on player feedback in terms of visual and audio response. A core mechanic I also focused on to help define the three distinct characters that feature in Cyber Crown was giving each one unique abilities that define their overall classes. For example, the Netshade (our game’s rogue) can buff their movement stamina so they can traverse the levels faster than the other two characters. As well as my roles as the lead player/combat designer, I supported all other designers on the project to help us build a solid and highly functional prototype for Blaze Games
